  1. I've spent many hours playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. for the exact same reason.
    Anyway, there's an interesting blend from Strugatskis' "Roadside Picnic", the unbelievably beautiful "Stalker" by Andrej Tarkowsky, who interpreted the novel providing most of the visuals base for the game, and that strange twist of destiny: Chernobyl.
    All in all, some kind of new mithology to read our possible future from... while waiting for the Fukushima meltdown.
