Old abandoned cars in decay

Rust? Yes, thank you! These cars were once the pride of the company that made them and the people that owned them. Then they were replaced by new cars, and thus forgotten. It will be weird for me to grow old and see that the best cars out there now, will be also forgotten in decay, left to rust later. As a live example of my statement, stand the sports cars in the post (we`ve got an abandoned Ferrari, abandoned Porsche, abandoned Jaguar, abandoned Corvette, and an abandoned Mustang). I`ll begin with an old car, but one that I would totally restore and use, because it`s still a cool car, the Mustang. Yes, a decaying Mustang, sad ain`t it? To be honest, I would restore many of these cars, I love the classics, but money is an issue nowadays.
If you need info on one of the cars feel free to leave a comment.

  3. Classic cars like these are reminiscent of the good old days when gas was cheap and the economy was thriving. Once restored, these cars would be a vision of beauty, and an awesome prospect for avid car collectors out there.

  6. It's kinda sad to see cars in a state like that. Despite the rust, you can still picture some of those on the road, or at least in a garage where they can be displayed. A restoration job might help some of those vehicles.

  7. though i don't like the pollution emitted by cars but still i don't want to ignore what the cars those have done for us. without it there wouln't be a new cars. also if i were the owner of that car i wouldn't trash it out. why? because old are beautiful and furthermore when it comes to car. Old are Antique and Antique are priceless and symbolizes wealth.

  8. Love the first car. Curious where you saw it. I am guessing it to be around a '69 or '70. I absolutely love old abandoned stuff and I've literally spent the last few hours going through your pictures. Thanks for your work with the website. If you care to disclose where you saw the stang, you can contact me at grainman80@gmail.com. I would love to learn more about how you got started with this. If I had more time I would love to learn more about exploring these antiques. Thanks

  9. Ah, what a shame. Those old cars have become statues, never to see the road again. It's sad since at some point they must have been in a state where restoration would have been possible.

    The photos are nice, though.

  10. Seeing this beautiful pieces of history in disrepair is almost unbearable. I'm a massive classic car enthusiast, and just recently got a 1969 Ford on the road after sorting out the classic car insurance. I really couldn't even imagine allowing it to go into such disrepair, I guess the people that owned these just didn't have the money for the up-keep, which is a real downer. I know countless people that would have jumped at the chance to purchase some of these cars before they were left abandoned, quite the disappointment.

P.S I wonder if the mustang could still be restored? Looking at it, it would definitely cost a fortune, but it doesn't seem irreparable. If only I were a millionaire, it would not only make life so much easier, but I'd definitely attempt to restore cars like this.
